21st Engineering Practice Examination (EPE) for Title of Professional Engineer (Spring-2023)
Pakistan Engineering Council under the provision of PEC Act, 1976 and PDE Byelaws-2008 (amended up to October 31,2017) is holding 21st Engineering Practice Examination (EPE) for Registered Engineers(REs) who are eligible to apply for the prestigious title of Professional Engineer(PE). The exam will be held simultaneously in the Following proposed Cities On 16th July 2023 :-
- Islamabad
- Rawalpindi
- Lahore
- Multan
- Rahim Yar Khan
- Karachi
- Hyderabad/Jamshoro
- Sukkur
- Peshawar
- Swat
- Quetta
- Khuzdar
- Gilgit-Baltistan
- Muzaffarabad/AJK
As Per PEC Act 1976, the PE has privilege’s over RE in the Terms of technical sanction authority, design/ process certification, and preference for higher levels leading towards international practice. All those Registered Engineers(REs) registered with PEC, who meet the following minimum eligibility criteria are eligible to apply :
- Graduated on or after 15th January 2008.
- 5 years of Practical experience in relevant field of engineering since registration with PEC till closing date of submission of applications.
- 17 CPD points since 10th July 2010 (Maximum 10 CPD points from work/job experience and 07 CPD points from other categories of CPD).
the candidates who have already appeared in 17th 18th 19th or 20th EPE but could not qualify any one part of exam, can also apply to re-appear in Not Qualified Part.
Application forms, examination format, EPE syllabi, study material and necessary guidelines are available on PEC website (www.pec.org.pk) under CPD link (https://pec.org.pkcpd/engineering-practice-examination/). Duly filled online application may be submitted along with fee of Rs 5,000+ Bank Charges(both parts) and Rs 2,500 + Bank Charges/ single Part) by 7th June 2023.
